Printing
By applying printed information to jacketing materials, they can be marked for measurement, by foot for example, to differentiate products by their purpose, and to identify a product visually.
Striping
Striping is primarily used to expand the color options available for insulation materials when an application needs to differentiate between large numbers of conductors within a cable. Some of Calmont’s cables have over 100 components, so by applying a colored stripe on top of the colored jacket, we expand our color palette and create an almost infinite number of color options.
